Scott Swanson

Scott came up with the concept of a six week challenge in October of 2006 and invited a group of 10 friends and colleagues to join him in the first version of what today is The Six-Week. The results were inspiring and profound life changes for each participant that provided the validation and inspiration to form a course with the hope of touching many lives with the work he and the other founders had discovered.

Scott spent most of the early part of his life in or around a swimming pool and would break conference records as an NCAA All-American swimmer. He went on to coach both Swimming & Water Polo for several years before turning his career to advertising. He is currently serving as General Manager of Distributed Media at Glam, Inc., an interactive advertising firm. Widely regarded as an industry thought leader, Scott regularly speaks on business trends at conferences and on industry discussion panels.

Since 2002, Scott has led singles events in San Francisco and played matchmaker to over 2,100 singles, leading to dozens of new relationships and over 3 marriages. In addition to The Six-Week, Scott also serves as a course leader for other personal growth programs including The Authentic Man Program, The Authentic Woman Experience, and The San Francisco Men's Circle. He is also co-founder of GrowthPop a personal growth review website. Scott holds a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies from Pomona College and is currently in development of a book for the Wiley Publishing corporation.
